Tämän kuukauden teemana oli Combat. Se tarkoittaa laatikon täydeltä Street Fighter, Nälkäpeli, Fallout 4, Blizzardin Cute but Deadly sekä Teini-ikäiset mutanttininjakilpikonnat aiheista tavaraa. Perus Loot Craten lisäksi sain myös Level up- paketin. Kolmesta vaihtoehdosta minulle tuli sukka-paketti. Sukka pakettiin kuuluu 2 paria teemaan liittyviä sukkia. Niistä lisää blogin lopussa.

This month's theme was Combat. That means this box was full of Street Fighter, The Hunger Games, Fallout 4, Blizzard's Cute but Deadly and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles- stuff. I also got a Level Up package. Sock pack (you can choose from three options) includes 2 pair of socks ofcourse by the theme. I will tell more about them in the end of blog.

Sitten sieltä löytit yksinoikeudella Loot Cratelta Fallout 4 Vault Boy Bobble Head - figuuri. Paras esine tämän kuun laatikosta! Värit ovat kirkkaat ja hyvin maalattu.

Then there was exclusive Fallout 4 Vault Boy Bobble Head- figure. This is my favorite item from this box! Colours are bright and it is very well painted.

Cute But Deadly Vinyyli Mysteeri Boxi. Sieltä oli mahdollisuus saada yhdeksän erillaista hahmoa, joista yksi on vain yksinoikeudella Loot Cratelta. En tietenkää minun onnellani sitä saanut, mutta sieltä putkahti tällainen...

Nyt pääsen kunnolla kirjoittamaan siitä mistä tässä blogissa oli alunperin ollut kyse.

Broken Age on seikkailupeli jossa kohtaa kaksi samankaltaista persoonaa, joilla aivan erilaiset taustat.

Vella ja Shay, kaksi nuorta jotka haluavat elää elämänsä sääntöjen ja arjen ulkopuolella.
Vella, jonka maailmassa on normaalia uhrata kerran vuodessa täysi-ikäisiä nuoria naisia jättimäiselle lonkerohirviölle. Näin kaupungit ja kylät säilyittäisivät rauhan ja järjestyksen. Tietenkin täytyy löytyä se yksi juuri täysi-iän saavuttanut nuori joka uhmaa perinteitä ja haluaa tuhota monsterin, ettei nuorten tarvitsisi heittää elämäänsä hukkaan.

Shay, jonka jokaista liikettä vahditaan hänen omassa avaruusaluksessaan. Aluksen kapteenina ei ole helppo toimia, kun Äiti- ja Isä- nimiset tekoälyt seuraavat sinua joka paikkaan. Eräänä iltana Shay kuitenkin onnistuu hämäämään ja pääsee kohtaamaan arkensa vastakohdan.

Peli on aika veikeällä tyylillä tehty. Aivan kuin pelaisit maalauksessa. Pelatessasi saat myös päälle vanhan kunnon pikselimössön, jos haluat vähän nostalgisuutta mukaan. Broken Age on aika helppo peli, muutamaa vaikeaa pulmaa lukuun ottamatta. Pelin kulku on nopeaa jonka ansiosta pelin voi pelata parissa päivässä loppuun. Mukaansatempaavan tarinan ja musiikin ansiosta miellyttävä pelikokemus.

Arvioni perustuu omaan kokemukseeni. Eli muilla saattaa mennä pelaamiseen paljon vähemmän aikaa (Teen muutakin kuin pelaan :D)

Arvosanani pelille on 4/5, sillä niihin muutamiin pulmiin meni niin pahasti hermo että innostus pelaamisesta hävisi (malttamaton, tiedän). Suosittelen kyllä kaikille! Peli löytyy perus laitteille, sekä Play-kaupasta hintaan 5,46€. Metacritic keskiarvo on 76/100.

Broken Age is an adventure game where two similar persons from different backrounds meet each other. Vella and Shay, two youngster who try to live their lifes beyond the rules. In Vella's world it is normal to sacrifice young women once in a year to a big monster. Only this way the town and villages can proceed in peace and order. Of course, there must be one young who wants to defie the tradition and destroy the monster, that young people can live their lifes normal.

Shay, whose every step and move are watched in his own spaceship. It’s hard work to be a captain of the ship when your AI-Mom and -Dad follow you everywhere. However, one night shay manages to trick the AIs and face opposite of his everyday life.

The game is designed in fun way, it feels like you are playing in painting. While you play you can switch the mode to a pixel mash, if you want to include some nostalgia feeling. Broken Age is easy to play, except for some puzzles. The game play is fast which mean that you will play the game through in couple of days. Thanks to engaging storyline and music the gaming experience is pleasant.

My assessment is based on my own experience. For me the playthrough might have taken longer than for many others. (I have much more things to do than play :D).

My score for the game is 4/5, as I lost the nerves in few puzzles so badly that I lost enthusiasm for playing (impatient, I know…). I still recommend this to everyone! The game can be found for all consoles, as well in the Play Store with price of 5,46€. Metcritic’s score is 76/100.

Lokakuun Loot Crate saapui! Tämän kuun teemana on AIKA. Juhlimme Paluu tulevaisuuteen- elokuvan 30-vuotispäivää (21.10.2015) Toisin kuin yleensä, tässä laatikossa kaikki esineet olivat yksinoikeudella Loot Cratelta.
My October Loot Crate arrived! This month's theme was TIME. We are celebrating the 30th anniversary of Back to the Future (21.10.2015). Unlike usually, in this box everything was Loot Crate exclusive.

Ensimmäinen minkä otin laatikosta oli Funko POP! -figuuri, numero 236. Dr. Emmett Brown, Paluu Tulevaisuudesta. Hahmo on hyvin yksityiskohtainen ja hyvin maalattu.
First thing I got in my hands was a Funko POP! Figure, Nr.236. Dr. Emmett Brown - vinyl figure, from Back to the Future. Figure is very detailed and well painted. 

Ensimmäinen Loot Crate t-paitani (ja tietenkin se oli liian pieni). Bill & Ted's Excellent adventure- teemalla varustettuna.

Viimeisenä oli  Doctor Who:n luha/Sonic Screwdriver. Itse en katso kyseistä ohjelmaa niin mulla ei ole mitään käsitystä mikä tämä on olevinaan. Sori :D

The Sims 4 - review

Kerron mielipiteeni suositusta elämäsimulaatiopelisarjasta The Sims 4 – pelistä, joka julkaistiin syyskuussa 2014.

I will tell you my opinion about life simulation video game The Sims 4 which was released in September 2014.

Peli on jakanut paljon mielipiteitä. Jotkut ovat pettyneet että siitä puuttuu tosi paljon ominaisuuksia mitä The Sims 3 oli ja toiset ovat taas tyytyväisiä uuteen julkaisuun.

Itse kokeilin ilmaista The Sims 4  hahmonluomis-demoa, ja innostuin kuinka yksityiskohtaisesti nykyään pystyy luomaan hahmon.

Hahmon luomisessa ei tarvitse valita annetuista vaihtoehdoista vaan painaa sitä kohtaa hahmossasi mitä haluat muokata ja kääntele mieleiseksi. Persoonallisuuden luomiseen on panostettu tässä versiossa erittäin hyvin. Innostuin hahmojen luomisesta niin paljon, että päätin ostaa pelin.

The game has divided opinions. Some people are disappointed that it lacks a lot of features compared to The Sims 3, and others are happy with the new release. I tried the The Sims 4 demo where you can create sims. I got so excited about how detailed characters you can create.

While creating your sims you can only click on the part of your sims that you want to change and pull it to a form you like. Also sims’ personalities are more detailed than before. I became so inspired about the new character creation that I decided to buy the game. 

Taaperot puuttuvat kokonaan pelistä. Eli simisi voi olla vauva jonka jälkeen hyppää suoraan koululaiseksi. Autot ja muut ajoneuvot puuttuvat kokonaan. Aluksi uima-altaatkin puuttuivat, mutta ne ovat tulleet päivityksien mukana takaisin peliin. Pidän siitä kuinka peliä päivitetään säännöllisesti. Bugeja korjataan ja parannuksia lisätään.

Toddlers are missing from the game which means yours sims jump directly to a school kid from babies. Cars and other vehicles are missing too. At first there weren’t pools but they were added to the game later. I like how they regularly update the game for bugs and add improvements.

Eniten pelissä pidän siitä että voi kerätä erilaisia esineitä sekä se että osa esineistä/huonekaluista on lukittuna. Se tuo tarkoitusta minulle pelaamiseeni. On ainakin jokin tavoite mihin tähdätä. Salaisia luolastojakin löytyy pelistä eri kaupungeista ja avaruutta voi tutkia. Kun rakennat pihallesi raketin, pääset tutkimaan avaruutta.

Most of all I like that you can collect different items and that some off the stuff and furniture are locked. It brings me a goal to reach. There are secret hidden caves in game and you can also explore the space if you build a spaceship.

Pidän myös erittäin paljon siitä miten pelin tapahtumia muokataan pyhien mukaan. Jouluna sai ilmaisen kamasetti – päivityksen, johon kuului joulukuusen lisäksi paljon muita söpöjä asusteita ja koristeita (on edelleen saatavilla nettikaupasta ilmaiseksi!). Pääsiäisen alla pääsi keräilemään pääsiäismunia. Palkinnoksi sai pupupehmon. Nyt kun Halloween on tulossa, simeilläsi on tietyn ajan taito antaa karkkia muille simeille.

I love how they modify the game by the holidays. At Christmas they gave us a free stuff pack that includes Christmas tree and cute outfits and decorations (it’s still available in Origin!). In Easter they told to search for easter eggs. When you found them all you got a Bunny-toy. Now that Halloween is coming they give your sim an ability to give candy to others.

Lisäosia on julkaistu tähän mennessä yksi ja toinen on tulossa joulukuussa.

Duunipäivässä pääset tutustumaan simisi töihin (lääkäri, rikosetsivä ja tieteilijä). Lisäksi saat kaksi uutta taitoa kehitettäväksi: valokuvaustaidon ja leivonnan. Kaiken tämän lisäksi pääset rakentamaan ja omistamaan ainutlaatuisia myymälöitä.

Joulukuussa tulevassa Kimppapuuhassa pääset hengailemaan kaveriporukalla erilaisiin paikkoihin. Diskossa tanssiminen, kerhoihin liittyminen, tanssi- ja DJ-taito ja lammessa uiminen tulevat tutuksi tässä lisäosassa.

One expansion pack has come out already and the next one is coming in December. In the Get To Work- pack you can go to work with your sims (doctor, police or scientist). Then you get two new abilities to increase: photography and baking. On top of all this you can also build and run your own shops.

In the upcoming Get Together expansion you can hang out with your friends in different places.

Disco dancing, joining clubs, dancing- and DJ-skills, and swimming in the ponds will also come in this pack.

Game packejä (lisäosia suppeampia laajennuksia) on tullut kaksi kappaletta: Ulkoilma sekä Kylpyläpäivä. Ulkoilmassa pääset luonnonpuistoon leireilemään ja harjoittelemaan luonnossa selviytymistä. Kylpyläpäivän nimi kertoo aika pitkälti mistä on kyse.

Two game packs have come out (they are smaller packs than the Expansion packs ) Outdoor Retreat and Spa day. In Outdoor you can camp in parks and practice surviving skills in nature. Spa Day’s name explains itself pretty much.

Kamasettejä on tullut neljä (viisi jos ilmainen joululisäosa lasketaan). Kamasettejen idea on tuoda peliin uusia tavaroita ja asuja. Ylelliset Bileet toivat ylellisiä tavaroita hienojen juhlien järjestämiseen sekä hulppeita asuja. Täydellinen Terassi antaa mahdollisuuden ostaa simeillesi porealtaita ja koristella terassia hienoilla huonekaluilla. Kuumassa Keittiökamasetissä taas tulee keittiöön lisää täytettä ja parasta kaikessa on jäätelökone, jossa on 30 erilaista makua. Varokaa brainfreezejä! Uusin kamasetti on tietenkin Kammokamaa, Halloweenin kunniaksi. Se sisältää uusia kammottavia asuja ja hauskoja koriste-esineitä.

Four stuff packs had come (five if you include the Christmas stuff pack). The point in stuff packs is that they bring new stuff and outfits to the game. Luxury Party Stuff gives you luxury stuff to organize fancy parties and beautiful outfits. Perfect Patio Stuff gives you chance to buy hot tubs and other cool furniture for patio. Cool Kitchen Stuff gives more stuff to your kitchen and the best of all you get an ice cream machine with over 30 different flavors. Watch out for  brain freezes! Newest one is of course Spooky Stuff, in honor of Halloween. It brings spooky outfits and funny decoration items.

Ensimmäisenä käteen osui ehkä söpöin pipo ikinä! Pikachu- pipo, Poke-palloineen!

First thing that I got to my hands, is the cutest woolly hat! a Pikachu- hat with Pokeballs!

Sitten löytyi Hearthstone stressipallo. Tosi hyvää laatua ja niin pehmeä! Pohjalta löytyi kortti jossa on Hearthstone kolikko ja korttipakka koodi.

Then I got a Hearthstone stressball. Very good quality and so squishy. So cool! In the bottom we found a Hearthstone coin and a card pack code.

Sitten tulee minun mielestäni PARAS ASIA IKINÄ! Jos ette tiennyt niin rakastan Supernaturalia! ( kiitos muutamien henkilöiden ). Kun näin tämän laatikkossa niin en tiennyt miten reagoida...

Then the BEST THING EVER! If you didn't know, I love Supernatural! ( thanks to friends). When I saw this in the box, I didn't know how to react...

Laatikosta löytyi myös Kidrobotin The Simpsons collectible art- laatikko. Sen sisältä paljastui kultainen Homer Buddha, rukousnauhoineen ja pretzeleineen.

Next I found Kidrobot's The Simpsons collectible art-box. I got golden Homer Buddha with his prayer beads and pretzel.

Taas viimeisenä muttei vähäisimpänä, Loot Craten oma henkilökohtainen pinssi. Näitä tulee joka laatikossa teeman mukaisesti. 

And again, last but not least. Loot Crate's own Button. These come in every box and are related to the theme.

Boss Monster 2 : The Next Level

Tänään kerron teille vähän korttipelistä jonka hommasin viime viikolla.
Kyseessä on Brotherwise Gamesin Boss Monster 2. Peli on tarkoitettu 2-4 henkilölle. Aloittelijoiden kannattaa varata ainakin 45min ensimmäiseen (meillä meni reilu tunti...), muuten yleensä yhdessä erässä menee noin 20-30 min.

Today I will be telling you about a card game that I bought last week.

It's Brotherwise Games' Boss Monster 2. You need 2-4 players. To newbies it takes at least 45 minutes to play one round (we played like more than hour...). Once you are familiar with the cards, it will take only 20-30 minutes per round.

Pelin ideana on rakentaa tyrmä korteista (max 5 huonetta), jonka tarkoitus on estää sankareiden pääsy pomosi luo. Jokaiselle pelaajalle arvotaan pomo ja sitten aloitetaan rakentaminen. Joka kierroksen lopussa "kaupungista" tulee sankari (2-4 kpl riippuen pelaajien määrästä) jotka yrittävät läpäistä tyrmäsi. Ensimmäinen joka kerää 10 sielua voittaa (joita saa kun nitistät Sankarin) ja ensimmäinen joka saa 5 vauriota häviää (joita saa taas jos sankari läpäisee tyrmäsi).

The idea in this game is to build a dungeon (max 5 rooms). Pick up Boss and start the building. Every round heroes come from the "town" (2-4 depending on the amount of players). First player who get 10 souls is the winner (you get the souls from killing a Hero) and if a player gets 5 Wounds (you get them if Hero passes your dungeon) loses.

30th Anniversary Mario amiibo on muita amiiboja hieman suurempi ja painavempi. Myös hyvin maalattu ja täynä yksityiskohtia. Hauska idea tehdä 2D:stä 3D.

30th Anniversary Mario amiibo is bigger that the normal ones and much more heavier. It is well painted and very detailed. It is a funny idea to make 3D from 2D.

Ensimmäinen LOOT CRATE saapui!!! Vihdoin ja viimein (viikon myöhässä, koska asun täällä kaukana).

Jokaisen laatikon mukana tulee kirjanen (onneksi pohjimmaisena, jotta se ei spoilaa ), jossa on mm. Instagramista liitettyjä fanien kuvia, tuoteseloste laatikon tuotteista ja mikä parasta MEGA CRATE, joka arvotaan kerran kuukaudessa ja sen lisäksi 20 kpl Mini Mega Crateja. Ensimmäinen tuote joka osui käteen oli.... Puinen Jokeri keräilyhahmo. Tuote on Loot Crate-yksinoikeus (eli et saa tuotetta mistään muualta) Mukana tulee vaihtopää. Toisessa lukee "Heehee" ja toisessa "Haha".

First thing I got in my hand was... Wooden Joker figure. This is a Loot Crate exclusive (so you won't get it anywere else) It comes with a spare head. The first says "Heehee" and the second "Haha".

Huomioikaa kuinka värikäs laatikko on sisältä. Jokaisessa laatikossa on teemaan liittyvää kuvitusta. Notice how colorful box is inside. Each box is illustrated to the theme of the month.

Toisena on musta Marvel laatikko, josta löytyi Venom -posliinimuki. Tosi hyvää laatua, ja tarkasti maalattu!

Second item is a black Marvel Box, which contained a porcelain Venom-mug. Very good quality and carefully painted!

Sitten paketista löytyy Marvel studios: Captain America The First Avenger-laatikko. Sain sen auki ilman että revin sinettiä (arvo ei saa laskea! xD) ja sisältä löytyi Captain America Hydra-pinssi. Tämäkin tuote on yksinoikeus!

Then I found Marvel studios: Captain America The First Avenger-box. I opened it carefully without ripping the seal (the value must not drop! xD) and in the box was Captain America Hydra Pin. This is an exclusive too!

Toiseksi viimeinen tuote on Los Pollos Hemanos esiliina (Ja koska olen laiska, otin kuvan lehdestä). Ne joille Breaking Bad on tuttu tietää mistä on kyse ;) Mulle nimittäin ei sanonut mitään x) Sori! (En ole katsonut kuin kaksi ensimmäistä jaksoa).

Second to last thing is a Los Pollos Hemanos apron (And because I'm lazy I took the pic from magazine). If you have seen Breaking Bad you'll know what it is ;) I have no clue x) Sorry guys! (I haven't watched more than two episodes).

Viimeisenä muttei vähäisimpänä, Loot Craten oma henkilökohtianen pinssi. Näitä tulee joka laatikossa teeman mukaisesti.
